- You own the house and the roof (or have the owner's written consent)
- It's a residential connection, active and with no large dues
- The same name is on the bill, Aadhaar and bank account
- You have shadow-free roof: about 100 sq ft for every 1 kW
- There's been no earlier solar subsidy on this connection
- The plant is grid-connected, with DCR (made in India) panels
